Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) is a Mini Ratna Company and is one of the subsidiaries of Coal India Limited, which is under the Ministry of Coal. WCL has now released an official notification for the WCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025-26. The recruitment is for Graduate, Diploma, Trade and Fresher Apprentice Trainees as per The Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The positions available total to 1,213 across various establishments within Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Eligible Indian nationals, who, on relevant dates, will have passed their qualifications from any recognized institutes in MP/Maharashtra or are permanent residents of these states, can apply online between the dates of November 17, 2025 to November 30, 2025, by visiting the WCL portal at www.westerncoal.in. - To ‘Apply Online’ go to this site: https://nats.education.gov.in/
- Please register in the WCL online portal with your valid mobile number and email ID.
- Mention details in the online application form including the true NATS/NAPS Enrollment ID, personal details, educational qualification, exact percentage marks entered up to 2 decimal places, the caste/ PwBD category and other required fields.
- Recent color photograph and signature are to be uploaded in the given format.
- Reviewed all information before making the final submission as no further changes are permissible.
- Submit the application and take the printout of the filled form with a soft copy for future reference.
- Apply for only one position under any establishment; multiple applications will lead to disqualification. Apply before the last date i.e. 30/11/2025.

Candidates who completed their Graduate, Diploma or Trade qualifications from recognized institutes in Maharashtra or Madhya Pradesh or who are permanent residents of these states may apply. Registration on the NATS portal (for Graduate/Diploma) or NAPS portal (for Trade) has to be completed before applying. The age and other requirements are as stipulated in the official notification; therefore, applicants must check all eligibility criteria before applying.
