UPSC CDS II Vacancy 2025 – Apply Online for 453 Defence Officer Vacancies at IMA, INA, AFA & OTA
Posted on: June 14, 2025Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) II 2025 for eligible Indian candidates. Graduates are invited to apply for admission into the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA) and Officers’ Training Academy (OTA). The application process will be open from 28th May 2025 to 17th June 2025. Candidates are advised to read the complete notification carefully and ensure they meet all eligibility conditions before proceeding with the online application.

Pay Scale and Allowances
- Training Stipend: Rs. 56,100/- per month during the training period at IMA and OTA.
- Pay on Commissioning: On successful commissioning, officers will be placed in Pay Level 10 with a starting basic pay of Rs. 56,100/- per month.

How to Apply for UPSC CDS II Vacancy 2025
- Visit the official UPSC website at www.upsc.gov.in and navigate to Examination > Active Examinations > Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2025.
- Click on One-Time Registration (OTR) and select New Registration to create your profile by entering accurate personal details.
- After registration, log in using your Email ID, Mobile Number or OTR ID and complete the verification process.
- Proceed to the application form, enter your details including educational qualifications, address and preferences.
- Upload scanned documents such as your photograph, signature and valid ID proof as per specifications.
- Choose your preferred examination center and pay the application fee via online or offline mode.
- Review all entered information carefully and click on Submit to complete the application process.
