Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025 Notification Out – 170 Assistant Commandant Vacancies
Posted on: July 9, 2025Indian Coast Guard, under the Ministry of Defence, has released the official notification for the Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) 01/2027 Batch. A total of 170 vacancies are available for General Duty (GD) and Technical (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics) branches. Eligible male candidates are invited to apply online. The selection will be conducted through multiple stages, including a screening test, PSB, FSB, medical examination and final induction. Steps to Apply for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025
- Apply online through the official Indian Coast Guard website between 08 July 2025 (1600 Hrs) and 23 July 2025 (2330 Hrs).
- Register using a valid email ID and mobile number for future communication.
- Log in to the portal and select the applicable post (General Duty or Technical).
- Fill in all required details including personal, educational and preference information.
- Choose your preferred examination centre from the list provided.
- Upload necessary documents including passport-size photograph, signature, 10th certificate, 12th mark sheet, graduation certificates and category/NOC documents if applicable.
- Pay the application fee online using a debit card, credit card or net banking (Rs. 300 for UR/OBC/EWS; SC/ST exempted).
- Review the entire application form thoroughly before final submission.
- Submit the application and download/ print the confirmation page for your records.
- Admit card for Stage-I will be available for download 48–72 hours before the examination date.

The online application can only be submitted by those eligible Indian male candidates who fulfill the educational criteria and age requirements.
