Selection Procedure for ICMR-NIIH Recruitment 2025
Assistant (ASST01)
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 MCQs, 90 minutes, negative marking (-0.25 per wrong answer).
- Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: 50% for UR/OBC/EWS.
- Computer Proficiency Test: 20 marks, qualifying (50% to pass), tests word processing, Excel, PowerPoint and typing (45 w.p.m. English or 40 w.p.m. Hindi).
- Shortlisting for Computer Proficiency Test: 1:10 ratio based on CBT performance.
- Final merit: CBT score (95%) + Post Qualification Experience (up to 5 marks).
Upper Division Clerk (UDC02) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC03)
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 MCQs, 90 minutes, negative marking (-0.25 per wrong answer).
- Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: 50% for UR/OBC/EWS.
- Computer Skill Test: Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi, qualifying.
- Shortlisting for Computer Skill Test: 1:10 ratio based on CBT performance.
- Final merit: CBT score (95%) + Post Qualification Experience (up to 5 marks).
Personal Assistant (PA04)
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 MCQs, 90 minutes, negative marking (-0.25 per wrong answer).
- Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: 50% for UR/OBC/EWS.
- Shorthand Test: 120 w.p.m., 10-minute dictation, 60 minutes (English) or 75 minutes (Hindi) transcription, qualifying.
- Shortlisting for Shorthand Test: 1:10 ratio based on CBT performance.
- Final merit: CBT score (95%) + Post Qualification Experience (up to 5 marks).
Technical Assistant (TA05), Technician-1 (TECH06) and Lab Attendant-1 (LA07)
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 100 MCQs, 90 minutes, negative marking (-0.25 per wrong answer).
- Minimum qualifying marks in CBT: 50% for UR/OBC/EWS.
- Final merit: CBT score (95%) + Post Qualification Research/Lab Experience (up to 5 marks).
