Age Limit

- Ex-servicemen: 3 years relaxation plus defense service period (max age 53 years).
- For NCC cadets and instructors, the duration of NCC service may be deducted from their age, provided the adjusted age does not exceed the prescribed maximum limit by more than three years.

The shortlisted candidates are taken through a skill test that involves shorthand and typing in Hindi and English.
