• Senior Residents, CMO, Resident Anaesthetist, Resident Pathologist: Maximum 45 years
• Demonstrators, Medical Officer, Emergency Medical Officer, Lady Medical Officer: Maximum 37 years
• Junior Resident (MBBS & BDS): Maximum 30 years
• Age Relaxation: OBC: 3 years SC: 5 years
• Government Servants (through proper channel): 5 years
• Widows/deserted women/judicially separated women (not remarried): 10 years

• All Other Categories: Rs. 1000/- + Bank Charges (if any)
• Exemption: Physically Handicapped candidates and those sponsored by the Regional Employment Exchange, Chandigarh, are exempted.

• Emergency Medical Officer, Medical Officer, Lady Medical Officer, Junior Resident (MBBS & BDS): Rs. 56,100/- (Level-10, 1st Cell) + other allowances

Tenure of Posts

• Senior Residents, Resident Anaesthetist, Resident Pathologist, CMO: Maximum 3 years (including prior experience), subject to satisfactory work and conduct.
• Demonstrators, Medical Officer, Emergency Medical Officer, Lady Medical Officer: Maximum 3 years (including prior experience), subject to satisfactory work and conduct.
• Junior Residents (MBBS & BDS): Maximum 1 year (including prior experience), commencing from January 1, 2026, subject to satisfactory work and conduct.
