Age Limitations
- Maximum Age Limit: 70 Years
- Age Limit: The incumbent of the post of General Duty Medical Officer or Specialist shall not remain in office after attaining the age of 70 years.
- Term of Engagement: Appointment shall be valid until a regular incumbent joins or the applicant reaches the age limit, whichever is earlier.
Recruitment Procedure for SSB Recruitment 2026
- Selection Process: Applicants are required to attend a Government Medical Walk-in Interview at designated locations and dates.
- Medical Examination: Appointment is contingent on being found fit by a Board of Medical Officers.
- Engagement: Appointment is for three years, extendable yearly for up to two years.
