BSF Constable GD Sports Quota Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 549 Posts
Border Security Force announced the recruitment of Constables under the Sports Quota for meritorious sportsmen. As many as 549 vacancies have been announced for both male and female applicants in different sports categories. Applications will be accepted online from December 27, 2025 to January 15, 2026. The appointed candidates will be placed as Constables in Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non- Ministerial) posts; the appointment will be All India in service liability and appointment will be governed by the BSF Act & Rules. - Constable (GD) Sports Quota: Level-3, Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100/- (7th CPC) + allowances as per Central Govt. rules.
Physical Standards
- Height: Male – 170 cm, Female – 157 cm (Relaxations available for ST, NE States, Gorkhas etc.)
- Chest (Male only): 80 cm (Unexpanded), 85 cm (Expanded) with relaxations for certain categories.
- Weight: Proportionate to height & age.
Medical Standards
- Vision: 6/6 & 6/9 without glasses/lenses.
- Color Vision: CP III by ISIHARA.
- Candidates must meet BSF medical guidelines.
