HTET Level I (PRT Teacher, Class 1-5)	10+2 Intermediate with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Special Education, or B.E.Ed. 10+2 Intermediate with 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Special Education, or B.E.Ed. Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, Special Education, or B.E.Ed.
HTET Level II (TGT Teacher, Class 6-8)	Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education/Elementary Education, Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and a B.Ed or Special B.Ed degree 10+2 with 50% marks and a 4-year BA B.Ed or B.Com B.Ed degree
HTET Level III (PGT Teacher)	Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with 50% marks and a B.Ed degree.
