Stages Involved in Candidate Selection
- Selection for the position of Assistant Professor will be done based on the Written Test with a contribution of 400 marks and Personal Interview with a contribution of 400 marks.
- There are 120 objective type questions (360 marks) with 30 questions on General Knowledge and 90 questions on the concerned subject in the written examination.
- The interview round is worth 40 marks and will follow the shortlisting process based on the performance in the written test.
- Marks will be awarded as follows: 3 marks for a correct answer, 1 mark for an incorrect answer or multiple answers.
- The written test would be taken for 2 hours with OMR sheets to be filled up with black ball point pen.
- If there is a tie in total marks the preference will be given in the following order: Written exam marks, Interview marks, Qualification percentage and older candidate.
