Salary and Pay Scale Structure
- Water Supply Operator / Electrician Grade-1: Rs. 37,500/- to Rs. 76,100/- per month
- Assistant Water Supply Operator / Electrician Grade-2: Rs. 34,100/- to Rs. 67,600/- per month
- Probation Period: Two years from the date of direct appointment.
- Pension Scheme: The National Pension Scheme (NPS) will apply to all four positions.

Selection Process for KEA Kalyana Karnataka Group C Recruitment 2026
- Only on the basis of performance made in KEA written examination shall KEA short list candidates for all the 4 posts. KEA examination can be held either CBT mode or OMR mode.
- The examination is made of two papers:
- Paper-1: General Studies on Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Constitution of India, History of India/Karnataka, Geography, Policies at national/state level, Panchayat Raj Institutions, Economic Development of Karnataka and Environmental issues related to Karnataka — 100 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours.
- Paper-2: KEA will take one technical subject paper based on the job one applies for consisting of 100 questions and 100 marks and 2 hrs. KEA will publish the syllabus separately.
- Minimum Marks Requirement: A minimum of 35% marks should be scored by candidates in the competitive examination.
- Penalty/ Negative Marking: This exam penalizes the candidate by 0.25 marks for every incorrect response.
- Kannada Language Exam: Candidates who do not fulfill the Kannada language requirements have to secure 50 out of 150 marks in the qualifying exam.
- Hall Ticket and Exam Center Details: Hall tickets and center information can be downloaded from the KEA website. KEA does not entertain any request for exam center change.
- Required Documents on Exam Day: The hall ticket along with one of the photo IDs like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport or Driving License must be carried by the candidates.
