Pay Packages for Each Designation
- Professor: Fixed basic pay of Rs. 1,18,500/- (Level 13) plus allowances
- Associate Professor: Fixed basic pay of Rs. 78,800/- (Level 12) plus allowances
- Assistant Professor: Fixed basic pay of Rs. 67,700/- (Level 11) plus allowances

Interview Fee Structure
- Nil Fee: SC, ST, ESIC regular employees, female candidates, defence ex-servicemen and PH candidates

Interview Calendar for ESIC Surat Recruitment 2026
- Advertisement Date: October 14, 2026
- First Interview Date: October 26, 2026
- Second Interview Date: October 27, 2026
- Reporting Time: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Eligibility Cut-off Date: October 26, 2026
- Subsequent Interviews: The fourth Monday of each month through December 2026, subject to the official schedule and vacancy requirements.
Upper Age Caps for Applicants (as on October 26, 2026)
- Faculty Posts: Not more than 67 years.
- Senior Resident: Not more than 45 years.
Age Concessions and Tenure Limits
- Relaxation: Granted as per prevailing Government of India norms
- Faculty Tenure: Contract ends on attaining 70 years of age
- Senior Resident Tenure: Contract ends on attaining 50 years of age
Contract Conditions and Security Deposit
- Initial Term: One year with an additional two-year renewal if deemed satisfactory.
- Security Deposit: Rs. 20,000/-, per post (by DD at the time of joining)
- Return: Refund upon expiry of contract and on submission of No Dues Certificate.
- Early Resignation If a candidate resigns earlier and is not able to complete the minimum required 6 months or more of service, the deposit will be waived off, if not due to unavoidable circumstances.
- Service benefits: No PF, pension, gratuity, seniority and promotional benefits.
- Private Practice: Not permitted for teaching faculty
Selection Procedure for ESIC Surat Recruitment 2026
- Eligible doctors are required to report to the Dean’s office between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM on their scheduled date. Candidates who arrive after 10:00 AM will be marked as absent by the authorities.
- The Document Verification Committee verifies the offline application form, self-attested copies of the submitted certificates and the original certificates.
- The Interview Board considers only candidates who successfully complete document verification.
- The selection board evaluates each candidate based on academic scores and interview performance.
- ESIC publishes the final results on its official website under the Recruitment section.
- Candidates who are offered an appointment will be contacted by e-mail and must report for duty as indicated in the appointment offer.
- Successful doctors can secure a Government job in Gujarat under the institution’s terms of engagement.
Department-Wise Interview Allocation
- Day One on October 26, 2026: Anatomy, Biochemistry, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics, Radiology and Eye.
- Day Two on October 27, 2026: Anesthesiology, Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, ENT and Dermatology.
- Later Rounds: Interviews will be on the following Rounds, 4th Monday of each Month Nov. 23, 2026 and Dec.28, 2026 (or on the following date announced if it falls on a holiday).
