Selection Stages for DTU Faculty Recruitment 2026
- Selection will be made on the basis of discipline-specific Recruitment Rules. No application will be considered if it is missing components or if a fee or documents are not included.
- DTU will provide a provisional eligible and ineligible list, take representations and provide revised lists.
- Shortlisting will be based on Point A (20/60) and Point B (40/60). Ten candidates will normally be called for the first post and then 5 candidates for each post thereafter.
- The final shortlisted candidates are required to go to the document verification and point verification with original certificate cum self attested copy. Claims that cannot be substantiated with evidence will be given no marks.
- Successful candidates will be required to give a presentation to showcase their teaching skills and competence.
- The Selection Committee will conduct interviews to evaluate candidates’ domain knowledge and their performance overall.
- The final merit list will be prepared by DTU based on the academic record, experience, research, presentation and interview performance. The selected candidates will be posted in Government Jobs in Delhi at the University.

Reservation Rules and Certificate Conditions
- As per Government of Delhi Instructions, Reservation benefits are provided to EWS, SC, ST, OBC (NCL-Delhi) candidates.
- The OBC (NCL-Delhi) candidates should have a Certificate from Revenue Department issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi.
- OBC Non-Creamy Layer aspirants should secure the certificate from April 1, 2026 or later, before the online application deadline.
- EWS candidates will have to produce Income and Asset Certificate for FY 2026-27 on the basis of income during 2025-26.
- OBC candidates from outside Delhi and those in the creamy layer are classified as unreserved.
- Reservation PWD is horizontal across vertical categories under rules of government.
