Stages of Candidate Selection for JMC Recruitment 2026
- The exam will be organized by the Staff Selection Committee of the Corporation according to the Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporations Act, 1949.
- One-tier competitive exam based on multiple choice questions in OMR format with difficulty levels corresponding to the educational qualification will be conducted.
- The exam usually takes place at Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad either in Gujarati language or in English language or both languages, the information regarding centers and date will be available on the website.
- Candidates have to qualify with minimum qualifying marks as determined by the corporation; otherwise, they will not be considered further.
- Eligible candidates will be called for Jamnagar for verifying their original documents and interview, if any, on their own cost.
- Selection process will take place on the basis of marks of the written exam and interview along with extra marks of 5 percent for widows and sportsmen and there will not be waiting list as selection list.
