Stages of Selection for Surveyors
- The board will organize competitive examination with single objective MCQ / OMR for all eligible candidates.
- The question paper is divided into two parts: Part A is of 90 questions from reasoning, data interpretation, mathematics, constitution, current affairs, Gujarati, English and Part B is of 120 questions related to the subject.
- The candidates are given a total time of 180 minutes and one fourth of the allotted marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
- A provisional answer key will be provided first and the final key will be provided after the objections received are considered.
- To secure a pass, candidates will need to obtain 40 per cent or more in each part of the assessment (A and B).
- Approximately half the number of the vacancies each year will be called for verification of certificates prior to final selection and waiting lists resulting in Government jobs in Gujarat for the recommended candidates.
- The appointed men will have to walk 25 km in 4 hours while the women will walk 14 km in 4 hours with one additional opportunity or else, the appointment will be cancelled.
