Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Brief Notification No. 27/2026 for direct recruitment of Assistant Executive Engineers. APPSC AEE Recruitment 2026 has 503 provisional vacancies in 6 departments namely Public Health, Panchayat Raj, Rural Water Supply, Roads and Buildings, Tribal Welfare and Water Resources. The last date for applying for the Engineering posts (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) is November 22, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM). Selected candidates will be entitled to get the salary range of Rs. 57,100/- to Rs. 1,47,760/-. Selection Process for APPSC AEE Recruitment 2026
- Commission will issue detailed notification with vacancy breakup, community and qualification details and age details on or before November 2, 2026.
- The interested and eligible candidates are to apply only through online mode and applications received via any other mode will be ignored.
- The commission will conduct only one examination and will not hold a Screening Test, regardless of the number of applications received.
- The exam will be online computer based and if delivered as more than one sitting, marks will be normalised.
- The written examination consists of three objective papers, each carrying 150 marks. Candidates applying for Panchayat Raj and Tribal Welfare posts must take separate papers.
- Each wrong answer will receive a penalty of one third of the marks and papers will be required to be taken in the engineering branch of the candidate.
- A practical Computer Proficiency Test scheme is attached in the notification and the final selection and posting in Government jobs in Andhra Pradesh will be made as per the rules notified by the Commission.

The Commission has announced 503 provisional appointments of Assistant Executive Engineers in six engineering departments. The maximum number of posts is held by Water Resources with combined Civil & Mechanical posts of 224, followed by Panchayat Raj with 100 posts & Roads and buildings Civil with 75 posts.
