The Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India invites applications for the post of Presiding Officer (CGIT-cum-Labour Court) in anticipation of a vacancy in Chandigarh. Eligible officers belonging to the judiciary or those who meet the specified eligibility as per the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021 should submit applications through proper channel not later than December 11, 2025. - The Search-cum-selection Committee reviews applications to determine eligibility and suitability.
- The Committee identifies candidates for short-listing based on their qualifications and relevant experience.
- Only candidates who are short-listed will participate in the personal interaction.
- The Committee evaluates candidates based on their academic qualifications, occupations background and interactions.
- The Committee will recommend and appoint candidates based on the overall observation.

- Go to the “Recruitment” section and click on the appropriate notification.
- Download “Vacancy Circular regarding selection for the post of Presiding Officer”
- Download the prescribed application form and fill it in correctly.
- Enclose bio-data as per Annexure-I and employer/head of office certificate as per Annexure-II.
- Include attested CR/APARs of the last five years, cadre clearance and Integrity/Vigilance Certificate.
- Please provide a statement with details of any major or minor penalties imposed during the last ten years.
- Forward completed application through Registrar, High Court / Ministry of Law and Justice.
- Ensure that the application reaches Sh. Bikram Nath, Joint Director, Room No. 316, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Shram Shakti Bhawan, New Delhi, on or before December 11, 2025 at 5:30 PM.

Officers fulfilling the eligibility requirements set forth in the Tribunal Reforms Act, 2021 or having equivalent judicial administrative positions are authorized to apply. The candidates should possess relevant experience and have an impeccable service record in compliance with all requirements in the official advertisement prior to Dec 11, 2025.
