Selection Process for ESIC Delhi Recruitment 2026
- Written Examination is cancelled and the Selection Board will conduct walk-in interviews only.
- All candidates must ensure that Annexures A, B and C are completed before hand.
- The selection committee will examine all documents, registration and experience of each candidate for the post applied for.
- In case there is no suitable specialist available, the hospital can appoint non-PG doctors as Senior Residents for one year or even appoint general specialists to super-specialists’ departments.
- If no suitable candidate comes forward under a certain category, the hospital can opt for any other category.

Contract Terms Every Doctor Should Know
- Contractual Terms: The posts are contractual in nature, offering no regularisation guarantee. Either party is entitled to discontinue the assignment upon giving one month notice.
- Benefits: The hospital does not provide PF, pension, gratuity, medical allowance or seniority/ promotion benefits.
- Private Practice: The full-time contractual doctors are not allowed to engage in private practice.
- Security Deposit: Provide a demand draft of a refundable Rs. 10,000/- while joining the assignment.
- Additional Information: The hospital does not provide any TA/DA, accommodation and uniforms. Canvassing leads to disqualification and the selection board has the final authority. The walk-in interview date will be November 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at ESIC Hospital, Okhla, New Delhi. The candidates need to submit pre-filled Annexures A, B and C, along with original copies of all necessary documents.
According to the notice, there are 19 seats available for Senior Residents Recruitment in 10 departments out of which 5 seats are available for Pediatrics including NICU and 4 seats are available in Surgery Department. Total vacant seats are 40 out of which 13 are available for Specialists and 8 are available for Super Specialists.
The age limit of Specialist and Super Specialist should be 69 years as on November 03, 2026. The salary of Junior Specialists is Rs. 1,50,294/- and that of Senior Specialists is Rs. 1,74,936/- while full-time Super Specialists will get either Rs. 2,00,000/- or Rs. 2,40,000/-.
There is no fee for SC, ST, PH and women candidates while the rest have to make the payment of Rs. 500/- in form of Demand Draft in favor of ESI Fund A/c No. 01 Payable at New Delhi. The successful candidates have to make the payment of non-refundable Rs. 10,000/- at the time of joining.
