Age Limitations

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years as of July 31, 2026.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
  • OBC Candidates: 3 years
  • PWBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
  • PWBD (OBC): 13 years
  • PWBD (SC/ST): 15 years

Remuneration Details

• Basic Pay: Rs. 67,700/- (Pay Level 11, 7th CPC Pay Scale)
• Other usual allowances shall be provided on top of the NPA.
• Approximate Total Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 1,30,000/-

Recruitment Procedure for JIPMER Senior Resident Recruitment 2026

• Stage I: Written Test
  • Date: July 2, 2026, July 3, 2026 and July 4, 2026
  • Time Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
  • Types of Questions: 40 Objective Type questions where single best answer is to be selected.
  • Total Marks: 80 (2 marks for each correct answer; negative marking not applicable
• Minimum Eligibility Score for Interview:
  • UR/EWS: 50% (40 marks out of 80)
  • UR–PWBDs: 45% (36 marks out of 80)
  • SC/ST/OBC: 40% (32 marks out of 80)
• Stage II: Interview
  • Marks: 20 (based on performance, prizes, medals, awards, publications etc.)
  • Document Verification: All shortlisted candidates will have to produce certificates
  • Final Merit List: Based on combined marks of Written Test (80%) and Interview (20%).
