Stages Leading to Final Selection

• Applicants will be initially called for the written competitive test which will be held on the offline OMR mode.
• Paper 1 assesses general knowledge and paper 2 assesses general knowledge of Kannada, general knowledge of English and computer knowledge.
• The marks are deducted ¼ for every incorrect answer and the minimum marks required to pass are 35%.
• Candidates who do not have a Kannada medium or SSLC Kannada background, must get 50 marks in Kannada compulsory test out of 150 marks.
• The total mark obtained is used to prepare the merit and in case of a tie, the senior candidate is given priority.
• Once the result, candidates opt for the department and for the post through online counselling and a provisional list is forwarded for document verification.
• Final lists are sent to the departments for appointment and the selected candidates are recruited in Government Jobs in Karnataka on a probation basis for two years.
