National Green Tribunal Recruitment 2025 – Apply for 10 Judicial & Expert Member Posts
The Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change has released the National Green Tribunal Recruitment 2025 for Judicial Jobs in India. Eligible candidates may apply online for 05 vacancies for Judicial Member and 05 vacancies for Expert Member in National Green Tribunal (NGT) and a member of the National Green Tribunal Act, 2010. Candidates who have the qualifications, experience and skillsets should submit their applications before 17th October 2025. Eligible applications will be screened by the Search-cum-selection Committee and after screening a Call for Personal Interaction would be issued for suitable candidates. Members could be short-listed for Principal Bench in New Delhi or Zonal Benches at Kolkata, Bhopal, Chennai or Pune.

FAQs
The applicants must be sitting or retired Judges of a High Court or must have ten years’ professional cumulative experience as a District or Additional District Judge or ten years’ professional experience as an advocate in environmental or related cases, before the NGT, High Courts or Supreme Courts.
A graduation, post graduation or doctorate degree in Science and 25 years of aggregate experience in the environment working sectors are needed. Applicants should possess aggregate 20 years administrative service of which five should have been served in Central or State Government or institutions of repute in the matter of employment in the environmental field.
