Naval Ship Repair Apprenticeship Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 224 Posts

The Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar, Karnataka and Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa), Dabolim, Goa, under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications from ITI qualified Indian Nationals (Male and Female) for apprenticeship training in various designated trades for the academic year 2026-27/28 under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 19961, Apprentice. A total of 224 vacancies (180 at Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar and 44 at Naval Aircraft Yard, Goa) are available. Interested candidates can apply online through the website www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and send the required documents by post within 30 days from the Employment News publication (October 18–24, 2025) to secure a chance in these Indian Navy Jobs.

Selection Process

• The preliminary merit list is created based on the aggregate percentage of ITI and 10th Std marks (8th Std for Rigger). In case of a tie, date of birth (age wise preference) and name alphabetical order will be used for tie-breaking.
• Written Examination: Filled OMR Sheets, Total 100 Marks (Mathematics-35, General Science-35, General Knowledge-30) will be in Bilingual (English/Hindi) Format, No Negative Marking, Duration-2 Hours. Karwar, January 2026.
• Final Merit List: Based on the written exam marks, followed by verification of documents and medical fitness.
• Joining: Candidates in the merit list will be issued joining letters through e-mail and will join training tentatively from April 13, 2026.

• For the apprenticeship options, specify one of the options- either “Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar” or “Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa)” and select a trade to apply for.
• Check when applying that your corresponding name, date of birth and father’s name are in tandem with the details mentioned in Aadhar and in your SSC/ 8th Std certificate (case of Rigger).
• Log in, enter personal and educational info, upload 10th/8th Std mark sheet, ITI mark sheets and verify Aadhar.
• Download and print candidate proxy, attach self-attested copies of documents required (SSC/ Matric/ ITI mark sheets, category certificate, disability certificate, Aadhar and Certificate of Undertaking).
• Send them through speed/registered post to The Officer-In-Charge, Dockyard Apprentice School, Naval Ship Repair Yard, Naval Base, Karwar, Karnataka – 581308 before thirty days from October 18, 2025.
