Pay Scale

• Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100/- in Level 7 of the Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017, plus usual Dearness and other allowances as sanctioned by the Government of Odisha.

Selection Process

• Stage 1: Qualifying Test in English: 100 marks, 1½ hours; includes Essay, Translation, Re-translation and Grammar; qualifying marks: General 35%, SC/ST 30%.
• Stage 2: Computer Application Test: 100 marks, theory & practical (MS Office, Access, Internet, File handling); qualifying marks: 50%.
• Stage 3: Skill Test (Shorthand & Typewriting): 100 marks; shorthand dictation (80 wpm, 5 mins) and transcription (40 wpm, 10 mins); 0.25 marks per right word; a maximum of 10% errors permitted, beyond which disqualification.
• Final Merit List: On the basis of Skill Test marks with distinct lists for general and reserved classes.
