RRB has released a notification for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026. There are 590 vacancies available for nursing superintendent, pharmacist, radiographer and other paramedical posts. The recruitment is for the posts under the Ministry of Railways. The RRB CEN 05/2026 is inviting applications for these paramedical posts from September 15, 2026 to October 14, 2026. • Malaria Inspector & Health Grade II: 18 to 33 years
• Speech Therapist & Audiologist: 21 to 30 years
• Pharmacist (Entry Grade): 20 to 35 years
• Radiographer X-Ray Technician: 19 to 33 years
• ECG Technician: 18 to 33 years
• Optometrist: 18 to 33 years
• Lab Assistant Grade II: 18 to 33 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 to 15 years, depending on category

• Nursing Superintendent: Rs. 44,900/- initial pay at Pay Level 7
• Dialysis Technician: Rs. 35,400/- initial pay at Pay Level 6
• Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II: Rs. 35,400/- initial pay at Pay Level 6
• Audiologist & Speech Therapist: Rs. 35,400/- initial pay at Pay Level 6
• Pharmacist (Entry Grade): Rs. 29,200/- initial pay at Pay Level 5
• Radiographer X-Ray Technician: Rs. 29,200/- initial pay at Pay Level 5
• ECG Technician: Rs. 25,500/- initial pay at Pay Level 4
• Optometrist: Rs. 25,500/- initial pay at Pay Level 4
• Lab Assistant Grade II: Rs. 21,700/- initial pay at Pay Level 3
• Other Advantages: The candidates selected will get allowances and other facilities as per the Central Government / Railway personnel, besides the above basic salary.

Stages of the Selection Process for RRB Paramedical Recruitment 2026

• Single Application Rule: One online application shall be submitted by each candidate from the official website of RRB.
• Computer Based Test (CBT): All the notified categories will appear for one stage CBT of 90 minutes comprising of 100 questions and 120 minutes for eligible PwBD category candidates appearing for CBT with scribe assistance.
• Question Pattern: Objective type questions based on General Awareness (10 marks), Professional Ability (70 marks), General Arithmetic, General Reasoning & Intelligence (10 marks) and General Science (10 marks).
• Negative Marking: For every incorrect response, one-third of the total marks assigned to that question will be deducted
• Minimum Marks Requirement for Qualification: 40% for UR/EWS, 30% for OBC(NCL) and SC and 25% for ST candidates with 2 marks relaxation for PwBD candidates.
• Document Verification Shortlisting: An equivalent number of candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification based on merit of the CBT exam which is normal practice followed in case of Central Government Jobs in India.
• Document Verification: Original certificates with two self-attested copies of the same are to be submitted during verification process.
• Medical Examination: Selected candidates must clear the prescribed physical eligibility standards conducted by Railway administration.
• Panel Allotment: Selection shall be on merit basis through CBT after document and fitness verification.

Fee Structure for Applicants

• Mode of Payment: Fee can only be paid via internet banking or using debit/credit cards and UPI.
• Date of Last Fee Payment: October 16, 2026
• Refund Conditions: Refund will only be given to candidates appearing in the CBT after deducting bank charges.
• Fee Concession for EBC Candidates: Economically backward class candidates having an annual income of less than Rs. 50,000/- should produce an income certificate or BPL Card or Izzat MST.

• Verify your identity using DigiLocker/Aadhaar while creating the account.
