Eligibility Criteria for SAT Judicial Member Recruitment 2025

Criteria Eligibility
Educational Qualification
  • Must be or have been a High Court Judge OR an Advocate with 10 years of substantial experience in litigation related to the financial sector before SEBI, SAT, High Court or Supreme Court.
  • Experience: 10 years as an Advocate in financial sector-related litigation OR Judicial experience as High Court Judge.
  • Other requirements: Should not hold financial interests prejudicial to the post.  Medical fitness certificate from a government authority is required.

Age Limit

  • Minimum: 50 years (as on last date of application)
  • Maximum: 67 years (at the time of appointment)

  • Staff Car Facility: As per Staff Car Rules for equivalent Group ‘A’ officers
