Age Limitations
- Maximum Age: The age as on the date of certificate verification and interview shall not exceed 69 years.
- Maximum Age for continued service/engagement: Contracts shall not expire after 70 years of age.
Remuneration Details
- Professor Pay: Rs. 2,60,226/- per month
- Associate Professor Pay: Rs. 1,73,045/- per month
- Assistant Professor Pay: Rs. 1,48,669/- per month
- Other Travel Allowance: Eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA) on the expenses of transport as per norms.
- In case the Central Government raises the Dearness Allowance, authorities will make proportional adjustments to monthly payments based on the new regulations.
- Faculty members should not indulge in private practices during their contractual tenure.

FAQs
The advertised current posts in the ESIC Recruitment 2026 drive are strictly contractual posts. A number of selected health care providers will be hired for a three-year term (renewable once a year until the arrival of regular candidates).
Only medical specialists with MD, MS, DNB, DM or M.Ch. degree in broad or super-specialty medical related field are eligible to apply. Also, non-medical candidates with post-graduate degrees (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) in specified non-clinical fields are eligible for these institutional posts.
Rs. 500/- by way of demand draft in favor of ‘ESI Fund Account No. I ‘has to be paid by the candidates being considered for the recruitment at ESIC in 2026. The amount can also be paid by cheque.
