Service Rules and Engagement Terms for IOB Apprentice 2026
- Employment Status: Apprentices under Latest Government Jobs in India are NOT permanent bank staff and will not have any staff benefits, allowances or perks.
- Duration of Training: The IOB Apprentice Selection 2026 program will last for one year with identical work schedule as that of clerical workers.
- Leave Entitlement: 12 days casual leave annually (maximum 4 days at any one time) not including declared holiday and weekly offs.
- Termination Grounds: Contract may be terminated based on unauthorised absenteeism, non-performance, gross negligence, willful insubordination or provision of false information and documents.
- Post-Training Provisions: Apprentices are assessed at the end of their training and are certified as apprentices on an Apprenticeship Certificate based on performance marks – no job guarantees.
