Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has announced the official notification for the MPESB Group-3 Recruitment 2026 through online mode for the posts of Sub Engineer, Cartographer, Laboratory Technician and similar Class-III posts by the Combined Group-3 examination. The MPESB Group-3 Sub Engineer Recruitment 2026 offers 1,700 vacancies across 132 post codes, including 861 Sub Engineer posts in 24 offices.. Eligibility for the posts are Diploma, degree or 12th pass holders with relevant experience can apply online till September 12, 2026. Selection Process for MPESB Group 3 Sub Engineer Recruitment 2026
- There is no interview or physical test in this recruitment and selection is done based on computer based online test.
- There are two papers in one sitting, total of 200 marks taken online.
- Paper A (100 marks): General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Reasoning, General Science, General Computer Knowledge.
- Paper B (100 marks): Technical knowledge of the subject for the position applied for.
- The examination is held in two sets, one from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and the other from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, each examination being of three hours’ duration.
- To be included in the qualifying merit list, candidates need to score 50% marks (Unreserved category) or 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category) with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD category as per the rules.
- Only the concerned recruiting department shall prepare a merit/waiting list based on the percentile achieved by the candidates and will issue appointment letters accordingly as per government jobs in Madhya Pradesh postings, not the Board itself.
- The waiting list will be valid for a period of one year beginning from the declaration of the result or till a fresh merit list is issued earlier.
