Additional Relaxations:

  • Ex-Servicemen can deduct their service period from their actual age. They meet the age condition if the resulting age does not exceed the maximum age by more than 3 years.

Hiring Procedure for JKSSB Class IV Recruitment 2026

  • The selection of candidates for the posts of JKSSB Class-IV and Sanitation Workers will be done based on Written Objective type test and verification of documents.
  • The written test will include multiple-choice questions, all in English.
  • One fourth of the question marks will be deducted for answering a question wrongly.
  • Additional weightage will be given for home district candidature, casual worker and family employment background etc. by JKSSB.
  • Candidates who have Benchmark Disabilities may be allowed to use a scribe and may receive 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour of examination.
