Selection Procedure for KEA Principal Recruitment 2026
- Written Examination: Qualified candidates must attend all three exams thatKEA conducts either via CBT (Computer-Based) or the OMR (Optical Mark Reader) format.
- Qualifier Exam: To qualify for the next phase, candidates must score the minimum required marks in Paper 1.
- Merit List making: For these Government jobs in Karnataka, only the scores from Paper 2 and Paper 3 will be considered while making the list of candidates by ranks.
- Selection Stage: Based on how many vacancies exist, candidates will be selected (1:2 ratio) for the verification of their documents.

Examination Scheme

- Paper 1: To be in the selection criteria, the candidates should get least of 50marks in the Kannada Language Test. Marks scored in the test will not contribute to the overall merit.
- Paper 2: The syllabus has a section on General Studies covering the main topics of History & Cultural Heritage, Social & Political Perspective, Indian Economy Constitution Public Administration, Science & Technology, Environment & Ecology, Ethics and Aptitude.
