Educational Standards Required for Each Post

Upper Age Boundaries for Applicants (as on January 1, 2026)

• Age Range: 18 to 40 years

Selection Procedure for LAHDC KSSRB Recruitment 2026

• The board will conduct an objective test on a computer, tablet or OMR format and it will be informed on the board’s website.
• It contains 100 Objective type (MCQ) questions, 25 from each Section of General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language with total time of 90 minutes.
• For each incorrect answer, a candidate loses 0.25 marks and if the candidate fails to score 20 percent or more, he/she does not advance.
• The candidates are shortlisted for document verification in the ratio of 1:20 for up to 5 vacancies and 1:10 for more than 5 vacancies, with a minimum of 100 candidates.
• Whereas the essential qualification prescribes them, qualifying skill tests, including the Physical Efficiency Test, will be carried out.
• Final selection of shortlisted candidates will be made at board office for verification of documents and in case of equality of scores, selection will be done on the basis of age, basic qualification percentage, higher qualification and alphabetical order.
• The board recommends the candidates on merit and post preference and then the departments issue offers based on character, antecedents and medical fitness and offer candidates Government Jobs in Ladakh.
