FAQs
Any individual having the degree of PhD in any field of Horticulture, along with twenty years of experience including five years as Professor or equivalent, can apply for the said position. The maximum age of the applicant shall not be more than 62 years as on the last date of receipt of the application. The tenure of the appointment shall be for a period of five years on a tenure basis.
The Unreserved/OBC applicants have to pay Rs. 1,000/- and the SC/ST applicants have to pay Rs. 500/- as application fees. Separate application forms and separate application fees are to be paid for each post applied for. The fee once paid will not be refunded.
Selection is based on the score card of 100 marks where 15 marks are given for personal interview. 55 marks will be given based on educational qualifications. The university reserves the right to conduct a screening test, depending on the number of applications.
