Salary & Benefits

• Basic Pay: Rs. 47,700/- per month (with nine advance increments).
• Gross Monthly Emoluments: The salary of RBI Civil Electrical Engineer is around Rs. 91,309/- including various allowances.
• Scale of Pay: Rs. 29,000/- to Rs. 78,640/- with periodic increments.
• Other Benefits: Accommodation with bank (subject to availability) or 15 percent House Rent Allowance, dispensary facilities and medical reimbursement.

• Online Exam: The RBI JE exam and curriculum is an objective test of 300 marks that includes English, Engineering Discipline and Reasoning which is common to many Central Government jobs.
• Phase II (LPT): Qualified online exam candidates are required to go through a Language Proficiency Test in the local language of the zone of application.
• Negative Marking: 1/4 th of the marks allocated to a question will be deducted in case of every wrong answer.
