AIIMS Bhubaneswar Senior Residents Recruitment 2025 – Apply Now for 132 Posts
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar has issued recruitment notifications for Senior Residents (Non-Academic) for the year 2025 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, for qualified Indian nationals. Government Medical Jobs in India – Those with MD/ MS/ DNB/ DM/ MCh or any equivalent qualification can apply online till November 27, 2025. Please check the eligibility criteria such as educational qualification, completion of tenure by November 30, 2025, age limit of 45 years (with age relaxations) and mandatory medical registration. Selection will be based on a written test (if applicable) and personal interview and tenure can be up to 3 years.

Selection Process
- Candidates need to apply online by November 27, 2025 (online application should not exceed 3 departments) with separate fees for each.
- Written test for the applicants will be conducted in a situation where applicants exceed 3 times than vacancies.
- Merit list would be prepared comprising scores of written test and interview or interview alone.
- Document verification and interview are held (date in website).
- Final selection will be made out of those in the merit/waiting list; offer to waitlisted if seats are vacant.

- Go to Recruitment section to find the “ADVERTISEMENT FOR SENIOR RESIDENTS”.
- Read the full notification (Advertisement No: DEANAC-25012/1/2023-DEAN ACADEMIC-Part(2)/4044 Dated: November 2025) and ensure you meet the eligibility criteria.
- Click on the “Apply Now” link to begin the online application process.
- Fill in the required details accurately in the application form (up to 3 departments, separate applications/fees per post).
- Upload scanned copies of necessary documents: DOB certificate, MBBS degree, Internship completion, Qualifying degree, Valid medical registration, Category certificate (if applicable, valid as per rules), NOC (for in-service candidates), Tenure/Experience certificates etc.
- Pay the application fee via Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking as per your category.
- Review your application, submit it and download the filled form along with fee receipt for future reference (submit at document verification/interview).
- In-service candidates must apply through proper channel and produce NOC at interview. Check website regularly for updates on written test/interview.
FAQs
Candidates, including MD/MS/DNB/DM/MCh or equivalent medical qualifications, should complete their tenure for the qualifying degree by November 30, 2025. Medical registration is necessary before joining the course. And those who have been already 3-years-resident under Central Residency Scheme not eligible. 45 years will be set as the maximum age limit; there will be relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates as per government norms.
Eligible candidates have to apply through the official AIIMS Bhubaneswar recruitment portal online. They should scan and upload their educational certificates, medical registration and category certificates if required or applicable. Application fees, non-refundable in nature, would be applicable for general, OBC and EWS candidates. No application fees would be collected from SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
Depending on the number of applicants received, selection may be based on a personal interview or written test. If the number of applications received is less than three times the number of vacancies, only the interview may be conducted. Merit lists for all categories will be prepared based on the combined score of written test and interview or interview alone if no test is conducted.
