• According to the IITM recruitment notification, the IITM walk-in interview process is for filling up Senior Project Associate, Project Associate II and Project Associate I posts. The institute takes a written exam and/or skill test to fill up posts for the Technical Assistant, Project Assistant and Field/Laboratory Assistant.
• Candidates should reach the venue between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on the day of the examination. No candidate will be allowed in by the institute if he/she reaches after 10:00AM.
• On the same day that the institute announces the written test result, after document verification, it calls the candidates for the skill test.
• Original certificates must be presented at the time of the written test, skill test and joining or will not be accepted.
• The initial period is until March 31, 2027 or to the project period, whichever comes first with one year initial posts for COPE, Alwar and RSPCB.
• Extension shall be based upon satisfactory performance and the Institute may terminate the appointment upon fourteen days notice.
• Selected candidates will be required to join immediately after fitness and the posts are transferable all over India and hence it is a Government Job in Assam on Contract basis.
