Selection Procedure for Kochi Metro Apprentice Recruitment 2026

• Interested candidates register on the NAPS portal for ITI trades and the NATS portal for degree or diploma courses, and fill in their profiles with all the information and documents required.
• Once the number is shared, the candidates submit the application form after completing it completely, along with relevant documents, to the corporate office within the given time frame.

Training Terms and Service Conditions

• Apprenticeship Period: Training period will be for one year from the date of enrolment and will terminate at the end of the training period and cannot be extended.

• Casual Leave: 12 days of Casual Leave can be availed by Apprentices during 1 year Training period on pro-rata basis.

• Final Authority: All terms and conditions are final and binding and entering the programme indicates acceptance of the KMRL decision.

Directions Applicants Must Follow

• Prescribed Format: The candidates are required to use the prescribed application format. No applications are accepted via any other means than KMRL.
• Profile Completion: The candidate needs to have updated his profile in NAPS/NATs before filling the application form.
• Mark Sheet Rule: Consolidated Mark Sheets should display candidates’ final examination percentage. Otherwise, they will be required to include a conversion letter.
• Specialisation Proof: If the certificate does not contain the specialisation, candidates should get a letter from the institute which they have done their studies from.
• Incomplete Forms: KMRL will not accept incomplete applications and applications from ineligible candidates without prior notice.
• Contract and Police Check: Engagement requires tripartite contract, medical certificate and police verification.
• Bank Account: DBT amount is credited to the candidate’s active bank account where he/she will be able to see the DBT amount on which KMRL will facilitate.
